Slippery When Wet

I've got some time to kill, so here it goes, I guess. 10 things nobody really knows about me:

1. I used to wonder if I might be a lesbian. I never thought I was, just wondered if I might be. On that note, I don't know that I won't ever kiss another woman. I don't plan to, but who knows.

2. I've pretty much given up on Christianity. I've always wanted to be a Christian and even though I was for the majority of my life, but now I just don't feel it anymore. For that matter, I don't know what I believe in.

3. Half of me wants to move far away after college and work in a high-end women's consumer magazine. I know that I have the skills to do it. I've always wanted to move far away. However, I'm also really close to my family and I'm starting to wonder if a current relationship won't keep me around the Midwest.

4. One of my biggest fears has always been being alone and never falling in love. I'm independent, but not *that* independent. However, falling in love has been one of the scariest things I've ever done.

5. Sad as it may be, I just might really be as arrogant as I seem sometimes. I know what I'm capable of and I'm proud of that.

6. I'm going to play a six-year-old in the Vagina Monologues in February. Okay, almost everyone close to me already knows that, but not *everyone* knows that. And yeah, it's kind of a shameless plug. Come see the play! It's gonna rock!

7. While I consider myself liberal and a feminist, I haven't exactly specifically defined either of those terms for myself. It's more of a loose jumble of ideas in my head. And I'm rather okay with that.

8. I've always thought it would be cool to be a minority. Don't ask why, 'cause I'm not sure. Black and Hispanic women particularly are beautiful and seem to have such incredible spirits.

9. Although my hearing impairment annoys the hell out of me sometimes, I wouldn't have it any other way. I think it's a big part of why I am the person I am, and hopefully for the better. It helps to keep my ego in check, too.

10. I want to be about 15 pounds skinnier than I am right now. (Who doesn't?) Yet at the same time, I've come to rather appreciate the body I have. It's been very hard to do and it's taken up until very recently to mostly be able to do it. However, I love my big butt and the fact that I can fit perfectly into curvy clothes. It makes me feel all womanly and all.

Okay, I don't know if any of those were exactly shocking for anyone. I do hope that someone read those, though. I did put a bit of thought into 'em. It was hard, though, 'cause I'm kinda loud and I tell people almost everything... You're supposed to tag people when you do these. However, I'm gonna be lazy. If you read this and you haven't done it already, do it! :smily:

P.S. I'm seeing Bon Jovi again! Oklahoma City! January 14th! Yay!!!

Happy belated Thanksgiving to anyone who reads this. Break was glorious, though it makes me not wanna go back to classes tomorrow. Bleh, classes. Both Bon Jovi concerts were fabulous, by the way. Probably one more on the tour. Hell yeah. Not too much goin' on. Life is pretty damn good.

Bon Jovi kicked ass... and will again!

The concert was incredible. Chicago was a lot of fun. My mom and I are going to Omaha this weekend to see Bon Jovi yet again. And this time we'll be 44 rows back from the stage on the floor. Hell yeah!
